When I think of good pain I definitely think of post-exercise pain - my muscles may be sore now but tomorrow (or a few days later) I'll feel grrreat.Hitting yourself with a hammer, now that's not bad pain, that's stupid pain! Ha!:D

Sometimes there is such a good thing as good pain. When you've worked hard all day, stretching your muscles and getting a lot done, that dull ache that's all through your body actually feels kind of nice. It's your body's way of saying, "You've earned a rest." The pain from, oh, for instance, hitting your hand with a hammer, on the other hand, is bad pain. Bad pain is never good. It's your body's way of saying, "YOU IDIOT!"
